We have been in the field of mental health and addiction counseling for 25 years. Our goal is to empower people to find and utilize their own strengths to make positive changes in their lives. Our role is that of an advocate for each person to become self-aware in order to assume responsibility for setting and meeting goals. We believe that grief and loss are misunderstood in our culture and that many people suffer from unresolved grief. By alleviating some of this emotional pain, clients can experience healing and positive changes.

Our preferred methods are humanistic with exploration of family history and intergenerational patterns. It is important for clients to see themselves as part of a family system and to understand the impact of family history.

In addition to individual therapy, we also offer group therapy in the areas of grief, women's issues and dual recovery from addiction and emotional illness. "
