Brenda Cahill, Travel Center Manager of the AAA of Western and Central New York is presented the 2006 Penfield Chamber Member of the Year award by Michael Bloch, the chamber's president.

Brenda Cahill was honored with the Penfield Chamber’s 2006 Member of the Year award. Cahill is the Travel Center Manager of the AAA of Western and Central New York office in Penfield. She was honored for her many contributions to the Chamber, including serving on committees and her participation in Chamber events.
 
“Brenda is an example of the ideal Chamber member. She participates in events and is always willing to volunteer to help with things from increasing membership to handling the registration table at meetings. She is well deserving of this honor,” said Michael Bloch, president of the Penfield Chamber. 

The Chamber's 2006 Penfield Business of the Year is Eastside Urgent Medical Care. Chamber president, Michael Bloch presents the award to Dr. Tahmtan Hormozdyaran, Medical Director of Eastside Urgent Medical Care.

The Chamber also presented its annual Penfield Business of the Year award. The award went to Eastside Medical Urgent Care for its contribution to the Penfield Community and because it has experienced tremendous growth in recent years.
 
Accepting the award was Dr. Tahmtan Hormozdyaran, Medical Director of
Eastside Urgent Medical Care.
 
“Having a business like Eastside Medical Urgent Care is very valuable to the residents of Penfield and the surrounding area. This business provides a much needed service and it makes it possible for people to get immediate emergency care without having to travel to a hospital emergency room, which can be a time consuming ordeal, especially for non life threatening emergencies,” said Bloch. “We are delighted to learn of plans to build a new and much larger facility to handle the demand.”
